Fitted a fresh drivetrain throughout: new chain, cassette and chainring. Cleaned and re-greased the freehub for smoother engagement. Replaced the worn front tyre — Perished sidewalls and some small cuts. Replaced the worn rear tyre — Perished sidewalls and tyre worn. Replaced the outer gear cable. Fitted a new inner gear cable. Replaced the front brake pads. Replaced the front brake's outer cable. Replaced the front brake's inner cable for a crisp lever action. Replaced the rear brake pads. Replaced the rear brake's outer cable. Replaced the rear brake's inner cable for a crisp lever action. Replaced the bar tape, fresh and secure. Finished with a full safety check on the stand and road, key fasteners torqued, moving parts lubricated, and a protective polish to finish.
