Replaced the inner gear cable for noticeably crisper shifts. Replaced the stretched chain (50% worn). Fitted new front brake pads. Bled the front brake for a firm, consistent lever feel. Fitted new rear brake pads. Bled the rear brake for a firm, consistent lever feel. Wrapped up with a stand and road test, torqued the key fasteners, lubricated where needed, and gave the bike a protective polish.
Test-ridden and signed off as safe to use.
