ALIBIKES FleetCare
Guest bikes that work, every time
Bicycle fleet management for holiday lets, B&Bs and small hotels around Keynsham, Bristol and Bath. I supply the bikes, set them up properly, and keep them running.
Guest bikes have a hard life. They sit unused for weeks, live outdoors, and then get ridden by someone who's never seen them before.
Tyres go soft, cables seize, brakes go vague — and the first person to find out is usually your guest.
Is this for you?
If you keep bikes for guests to use, it probably is. That includes:
-
Holiday cottages and self-catering lets
-
B&Bs, small hotels and guest houses
-
Glamping sites, barns and rural retreats
-
Wedding and event venues with bikes on site
Four bikes or twenty, whether they came with the property or you bought them yourself — it's the same job.
How it works
I come and look
A proper look at what you have, how guests use it, and where the bikes live. No charge, no obligation.
An honest recommendation
Sometimes that's servicing what you already own. Sometimes it's a new fleet. I'll tell you which, and why.
Set up properly
New fleets are specified, built, adjusted and safety-checked before they go anywhere near a guest.
Looked after
An annual inspection with a written report, and repairs when something goes wrong.
What's included
-
Bikes specified for guest use — comfortable, step-through, simple to ride
-
Full build, setup and safety check before handover
-
Numbered and recorded, so "bike three has a wobbly saddle" means something
-
Annual fleet inspection with a written condition report
-
Repairs and replacement parts as needed
-
A service history for every bike
Why it matters
Guests notice
Bikes are a genuine draw for anywhere near the Bristol & Bath Railway Path, the Two Tunnels, the Chew Valley or the Avon towpath.
One less thing to think about
No hunting for a bike shop in August. No wondering whether the brakes are alright.
The bikes last longer
A fleet that's looked after costs far less over five years than one that's ignored until something breaks.
Common questions
Do you look after bikes I already own?
Yes. Many places already have guest bikes that simply need looking after properly. I'll inspect what you have and tell you honestly what's worth keeping.
Do I have to buy new bikes?
No. If yours are sound, servicing them is the sensible answer and I'll say so.
What sort of bikes suit guests best?
Comfortable step-through hybrids with modern Shimano gearing and disc brakes. Easy to get on and off, easy to ride, and simple to keep running.
Who's responsible for the bikes?
You own them and I look after them. Everything is set out in writing before any work starts.
What areas do you cover?
Keynsham, Saltford, Bath, Bristol and the surrounding villages. Further out, just ask.
Shall I take a look at your bikes?
No charge, no obligation — just an honest assessment of what you have and what it needs.
